Big Ben, the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster also known as the
Houses of Parliament, the seat of the House of Lords and the House of
Commons, the two houses of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. The Palace of Westminster is located in London.
Actually Big Ben is the nickname of the main bell housed within the tower. The English architect Augustus Pugin designed the clock tower in Gothic Revival style at the end of the 19th century. The tower is housing the world's largest four-faced chiming clock, the clock faces have a diameter of 7 metres (23 ft).
